I was a new consult and when I walked in it was not even a hello or a smile. I initiated the greeting. All she said was who are you here to see? I felt stupid because I didn’t really know as I was a new patient and I forgot who I was seeing. It just seemed like she was in her mundane job that she hated. My mom was with me and I told her the front desk didn’t seem very friendly and she said they are always rude.
I have worked front desk in the medical field for 20 years and I would never in my life not greet a patient in a friendly welcoming manner. They definitely need to work on their greeting as they are not leaving a very good impression as soon as you walk through the door.

Cosmetic consultations are free of charge. For non-cosmetic consultations, dermatology visits, dermatology procedures, etc we can bill your PPO insurance. We will collect your co-pay at the time of the visit. Once the insurance company processes the payment we will send you a bill for any deductibles or co-insurance amounts that may be due.
Our office is contracted with most PPO insurance plans and a few HMOs. Most medically necessary procedures are billable to your insurance company. Some procedures require prior authorization from your insurance company before we can perform the procedure. At the time of your visit, your provider will let you know if we need to obtain authorization prior to treatment.
