This was my second visit to Berman skin institute. Everybody is so polite and friendly and professional, so glad I was able to discover them
The doctor took care of my issues, and the receptionist helped me, and my appointment was on time
The clinician and assistants are knowledgeable, efficient and kind at this facility. I feel comfortable with my care and will continue to use their services for my skin check ups. I feel comfortable asking questions and never feel rushed.

The friendly staff at the Placerville Berman skin institute explained all the skin issues that I have and answered my questions.
First, I want to say how horrible the answering service is. Why would a local doctor use an out-of-country answering service? Beyond me…. Second, I received no appt confirmation. I did however receive a link via text to log in to my patient portal and when I tried, I received a message saying no patient portal exists. Furthermore, they will not discuss pricing over the phone, which is odd this day in age for someone providing skin services. Do BETTER disappointed all around.
I was amazed at how quickly I was treated...the same day I showed them the issue with a squamous cell growth on my hand, they took time to excise the growth & send it out for analysis!
Very friendly staff, and this is the first time in my life that I felt the doctor was concerned and showed knowledge and understanding about my issues. Very pleased!
I had several skin issues that were quickly treated. I was able to see the doctor the same day I called. Staff was courteous and helpful with making the appointment and assisting the doctor when I was at the office.
My first time visiting it was a great experience. Doing all the necessary paperwork prior to my arrival made the appt. so much easier. I was greeted with professionalism and kindness. Dr Rick was so nice evaluating my concerns with a diagnosis and medication. His compassion in explaining his thoughts and giving me the opportunity to ask questions was comforting.I am so happy I reached out to Berman Skin Institute. I highly recommend.

I feel as though Berman could do a more thorough skin examination. It’s certainly okay to ask me what my skin concerns are, but I would like to see the use of the magnifying visor while examining.
Great experience. The Assistant had to fill out my 5 pages of forms. She was very patient. I have tremors. The Doctor was so professional. I was ar ease from the start. You should have seen the size of the barnacle he froze off. I didn't shake a bit. Great Experience
Immaculate offices, was taken right in surgery took a very short time of 15 minutes. Dr and Asst. were marvelous and so official. I was extremely happy.
The yong woman at the front desk checking me in was very rude. The Dr was visit was quick and informative. But I was very put off by the girl at the front desk.

Unhelpful, offered suggestions and promoted products without any effective action for skin cysts. Sure they are happy to make money off of people with aging skin but don't expect any knowledgeable medical advice.
Excellent facility. Friendly staff. Very short waiting in the waiting room and in the exam room. The Dr. explained what he thought the issue was and gave me treatment options.Once I chose one, he did the procedure right there. He used appropriate numbing to eliminate discomfort, and explained the follow up very well.

Walked in and got lucky in that I picked a time in I got service— everyone, and everything, was perfect.

Jonathan Rick is a great doctor. Thoughtful, listens, knowledgeable about the stages of each stage of aging along with the applicable skin issues, and is current on today’s theories and treatments. We’ll keep going back.
This is the first time that i have used this medical facility. I found it to be a very nice environment. The staff was very nice and friendly and Dr. Rick was great…he even gave a call back the next day on my blood test to…wasnt’ expecting that but i appreciate this. Definitely would recommend this to anyone that needs advice and direction.

I've been to Berman Skin Institute for 2 annual skin exams so far. Both times have been good. I got a thorough exam both times and learned about my skin. I have had extra questions and they helped me to understand what was going on. I had to have some things removed. They were as gentle as possible.

What an absolutely wonderful experience. I made an appointment for a consultation. I walk in the door and I’m greeted by two lovely young women, very friendly. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Christan. He was fabulous and honest, and I appreciate that very much. First impressions are everything and they really made a great first impression!
