Cosmetic consultations are free of charge. For non-cosmetic consultations, dermatology visits, dermatology procedures, etc we can bill your PPO insurance. Are medically necessary procedures covered by insurance?
Our office is contracted with most PPO insurance plans and a few HMOs. Most medically necessary procedures are billable to your insurance company. Some procedures require prior authorization from your insurance company before we can perform the procedure. At the time of your visit, your provider will let you know if we need to obtain authorization prior to treatment.
