Ghazel Waiz, PA-C, MSPAS
Ghazel is a bay area native who received her BA in Public health with a minor in Global Poverty and Practice from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Ghazel worked as a medical assistant in dermatology and as an Emergency Medical Technician in the Bay Area. Committed to improving access to health care in underserved populations, Ghazel has provided medical care on several medical mission trips to Kenya and numerous refugee camps throughout Greece. Ghazel has received several academic accolades and is published in the Journal of Trauma Surgery and Acute Care. When not working, Ghazel loves to hike, travel, try new bay area restaurants, and spend time with her family. Ghazel performs comprehensive full skin examinations on adults and children and treats general dermatological conditions including acne, rosacea, warts, skin rashes, eczema, and psoriasis. Ghazel is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
